Daily sanitization of the plant and maintenance of social distancing are the essential activities that Zim has undertaken to reinstate a healthy atmosphere. The staff and material vehicles are also sanitized and the passengers have to follow strict measures of social distancing while traveling. The fumigation and thermal testing chambers add to the safe practices followed by Zim Labs.

Sanitizers with isopropyl alcohol are placed on the tables and, especially, at the entry and exit points of the plant. This inhibits the growth of any virus and cuts down its transmission. The newly created sanitizer by Zim Labs is creating news all over the nation for its effectiveness in preventing the virus. The company has provided its employees with enough supplies of the sanitizers so that they can also use that at home. This keeps their family safe too.

Establishment of Medical Facility

Hospitals and medical facilities are the most crowded places these days. Many hospitals have ventured into the treatment and isolation of corona affected patients. This has affected the medical care and attention needed for other problems and diseases. Zim Labs has set up a medical facility on its premises to give proper medical care to its employees. The facility has ventilators and other hospital equipment that’s the need of the hour.

The medical facility covers all the emergencies that might occur at the plant. It houses qualified doctors who conduct frequent checkups and advise the employees on better practices. All the employees are advised to go for health checks in the facility. This is to ensure that everyone is safe on the company premises. A checklist of DOs and DONTs is given to the employees to check the spread of the virus. Whenever someone notices any symptoms, they can report to the facility for medical assistance and further action. This is a noble initiative from Zim Labs and this model is emulated by other companies that are working with full force to cater to the needs of the citizens.

Employee Engagement and Morale Boosters

What’s more of a morale booster for employees than employee engagement activities and celebration of special days. Companies plan creative and artistic events to bring out the extracurricular flair of employees and some use it as a platform for involving everyone in the state of affairs. Town halls are considered the best form of employee engagement activities as they provide a common ground for employees across the pecking order to talk and share their views.
